Curated by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, as part of a three-year nationwide tour, this display considers Sir Anthony van Dyck’s Self-portrait in the context of male portraiture. Exploring male fashion from the 16th to 18th century and the role of gender and sexuality in contemporary representations of men. Edinburgh based, Mercury Prize winning Young Fathers will create a unique video for the display.
