The BP Portrait Award is a highly successful annual competition aimed at encouraging young artists to focus upon, and develop, the theme of portraiture within their work, with a first prize of £25,000. Recent winners include Victoria Russell, Clive Smith, Thomas Watson and James Lloyd.
