Previous| Next 		Letter from Thomas Telford to Baron Charles Dupin, dated 22 August 1832, telling him of the preoccupation in England with the application of steam power and introducing Brockedon to him.
  Letter

whilst his general aquirements also enable him to add valuable observations respecting the subjects of his Pencil; his publication of the Passages over the Alps, is a specimen of his Talents both as an Artist and an Author.

Any attention that Baron Dupin can conveniently show him, will be bestowed, upon an Able and respectable person.
