as the tone of the Head depends materially on that, you will be enabled to proceed farther with the Engraving, then you at present appear to think practicable.
I will write to you immediately on my return and mention the time when I shall want the Portrait to complete it. The addition to its size being entirely my own Act, the price of the Picture can only be that which was at first fixed between us viz. that of a three quarters Portrait, and not of the unusual dimensions of the present Work.
