Cold cast
A cold process used in sculpture to cast designs in resin which can be done in a studio. The resin is painted into a flexible mould-making in layers with glass fibre and left to set. No heat is involved as in casting metals in a foundry. A metallic powder can be added to create a bronzed or other metallic effect.
