Mixed media

Works of art where more than one method (medium) is used, as when oils are added to a tempera under-drawing, or collage materials used alongside pastels. Mixed media works today also often combine objects or pieces of natural materials such as driftwood or glass, with more conventional art media and in sculpture works can be created using whole found objects.
