There is a sculpture head of Sir Abraham Hume in Wormley Church, Church Lane, Hertfordshire, which lies adjacent to Wormleybury where he lived for many years. The family vault is in the graveyard of the church. At harvest festival each year it is the tradition to place an apple on the head of Sir Abraham as part of the seasonal decoration, helping to remind the congregation of the generosity of his donations to the church during his lifetime.
