(1775-1847), Irish politician; MP for Dublin City and Cork County

Sitter associated with 217 portraits
As an Irish politician and an MP from 1828, he recreated Irish nationalism, working tirelessly for catholic emancipation, extension of suffrage, repeal of the Act of Union, parliamentary reform, and Irish unity.
