Mary McCartney started her career as a photographer in 1995. Her work spans the worlds of portrait and fashion photography. Her style lies in finding a moment that gives a new insight on the subject. Mary's assignments have led to her work appearing in publications such as Harper's Bazaar and Interview magazine, and she has also undertaken high impact advertising campaigns for clients such as Gossard, Stella McCartney, Adidas, Aga and Mandarin Oriental. Mary was commissioned to take a series of portrait photographs for the Gallery's Gay Icons exhibition in 2008 and had a solo exhibition From Where I Stand at the National Portrait Gallery from October 2010 to May 2011.
