Thomas Charles Wageman was exceptionally prolific and produced hundreds of portraits. Much of the prints made after his watercolours and drawings of actors and actresses were published in Dolby's British Theatre, Proprietors of the London Stage by Sherwood, Jones & Co., Oxberry's Dramatic Biography, Finden's Dramatic Works and Cumberland's British and Minor Theatres.
