Harry Jonas had a studio at 35 Maple Street and in Goodwin's book Evil Spirits: the Life of Oliver Reed (2000) it is claimed Reed raised £5000 in a campaign to save the studio from demolition in 1968. Unfortunately, the following year it was demolished and replaced by a very undistinguished office and commercial building on the corner of Maple Street and Fitzroy Street.
