Artist Adrian George enrolled at the Harrow School of Art in 1961 and has exhibited worldwide since 1970. At his studios in London and Paris he creates figurative works in pastels, pencil, crayon, and oil. His portraits of Sir William Gerald Golding (NPG 5922, 1986) and Sir Arthur Charles Clarke (NPG 6451, 1995) are in the National Portrait Gallery Collection. Other portrait subjects have included Peter Sellers and Barbara Windsor. George has also created several painting diaries for the Sunday Times and the Daily Telegraph.
