Artist; studied at the Slade School and in Paris where she met the Scottish artist J. D. Fergusson and became a member of the British-American Fauve group. Later associated with Wyndham Lewis, she exhibited with the Vorticists in 1915 and 1917; by the mid-1930s her portraits and figure studies had turned to abstraction.
