Charles Street

I was in the loft yesterday and came across a box that my mother had given me which contained a family tree of sorts. Sir Horace Kirby was my great uncle. Sir Horace's father was Dr. Edmund Adolphus Kirby who founded a business of manufacturing chemist which was eventually sold to
Schering-Plough. Sir Horace did not go into that business. My understanding is that he was knighted for his services to the Earl Haig Fund.
The Kirby line has now died out. If you have any specific questions my mother may be able to help. She is 91.
