Bod Jose (Boulden Jose) died in 1931 aged 56, he was an entertainer, singer and vocal humourist - the brother of Ernest Incledon Jose (d 1939 age 67) pianist, Ernest married Kathleen Webster Johnson in 1905 at St Mary le Strand. Bod lived at 21 Mansfield Rd, Ilford. They all were well known on the musical circuit in the 1890-1920 period. Kathleen Jose (nee Johnson) died after falling back after her clothes set light onto an open fire at 391 Romford Rd, Forest Gate, E7.In the inquest it said she fell half sat, half upright with her head stuck in the chimney and died from extensive burns and shock. Bod Jose and Ernest Incledon Jose had a sister Edith Jane died 1957 at 36 Bushey Ave, Woodford, E18 she was not a musician. They were the children of Samuel Boulden Jose b 1843 d 1917 and Eliza Jose (nee Luckhurst)b1845 d 1907- Eliza Luckhurst was daughter of Edith Luckhurst and Wm Thomas Luckhurst - Edith was a famous "fancy stationer" living at 29 Carden Rd, Nunhead, from 1817-1881. Edith Luckhurst (grandmother of Boulden,Ernest and Edith) is buried at Nunhead cemetery, and also buried there is a child at 10 months Samuel and Eliza lost in 1883 named Nellie Incledon Jose.
