Gemma Arterton

Arterton trained at RADA. In 2007 she appeared in Stephen Poliakoff's BBC film Capturing Mary and on stage in Love's Labour's Lost at the Globe Theatre in London. Her big-screen debut in St. Trinian's (2007) was followed with roles in a television adaptation of Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles (2008) and as Bond girl 'Strawberry Fields' in Quantum of Solace (2008). Her performance in the film Tamara Drewe (2010), directed by Stephen Frears, earned Arterton a BAFTA nomination. Other theatre work includes The Master Builder at London's Almeida Theatre (2010) and Made in Dagenham (2015) at the Adelphi Theatre.
