William Charles Arcedeckne Vanneck, 5th Baron Huntingfield (born 1883) was Andrew Vanneck's brother (born 1890) and not his father. Andrew Vanneck was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, served in WW1 with the Scots Guards (Military Cross) and subsequently purchased Heveningham Hall in Suffolk from his older brother, William Charles Arcedeckne Vanneck, 5th Baron Huntingfield.
