Robert Yewdall Jennings was my late husband -- in 1982 Sir Robert Jennings QC, Judge of the International Court of Justice (President 1991-94).
The photograph by Barrington Brown is not very good; a much better one was taken by Max Koot (The Hague, 1982). There were also good portraits painted by Paul Gopal-Chowdhury and Peter Edwards, both in 1982. The Gopal-Chowdhury portrait hangs in the Peace Palace, The Hague, NL; the Peter Edwards one is in JesusCollege, Cambridge. (Second copies were also made for the family to keep.)
Sir Robert's entry in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, and in Who's Who 2004, provide information about his life and achievements.
