Former GB tennis player Debbie Jevans was the first woman to reach the top in UK sports administration. Drawing from her experience at International Tennis Federation she worked with the London 2012 bid team, before becoming Director of Sport for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
