George Friend,s Engraving workshop was based in Holborn.My old metal engraving Tutor (Stanley Reece ) often mentioned his name during engraving classes at Sir John Cass.George Friend may have been trained by Eric Gill; and,in turn, Stan Reece may have been trained by George Friend.
