Robbie Williams

Pop Singer. Born in Stoke-On-Trent, Williams became the youngest member of the band Take That at the age of sixteen, recording a string of number one singles such as Pray (1993) and Relight My Fire (1993). He left the band in 1995 to pursue a solo career, and since then has released more than nine albums. The single Angels, from his first album Life Thru A Lens, was released in December 1997 and spent ten months in the singles chart. It was named as the nation's favourite song of the last quarter century at the 2005 Brit Awards. Williams has won fifteen Brit awards, including four with Take That.
