Shirley Eaton (1936-), Actress

After studying at drama school, Eaton made her West End debut in Going to Town in 1954. She appeared in a number of the Carry On films and and in Life is a Circus (1958) and The Girl Hunters (1963). Her most famous role was as Jill Masterson in the James Bond film Goldfinger (1964) which led to her appearance on the cover of LIFE Magazine covered in gold paint. She continued to act until the late 1960s when she retired to concentrate on her family. In 1957 she married Colin Lenton-Rowe with whom she had two children.
