West End Girls, a hit in France and Belgium in 1984 was ignored in the UK until re-recorded; in 1986 it sold over 700,000 copies. Further successful single releases included Surburbia (1986) and Always on My Mind (1987) as well as the albums Please (1986) and Actually (1987).
