Shami Ahmed

(1962-), Businessman

Sitter in 1 portrait
Ahmed was born in Pakistan in 1962, he came to London the following year. After setting his own business up in wholesale garment trading, in 1986 he convinced his father, a market stall trader, to set up the Legendary Joe Bloggs Inc. Co. in Manchester. He made his name with his own clothing brand Joe Bloggs which offered the youth market trendsetting, branded clothes at an affordable price. The company kept most of their production in Britain, enabling new fashion styles to be manufactured and supplied quickly, which heavily contributed to the company's success, making Ahmed a multi-millionaire. Ahmed's task-force operations focus on encouraging young entrepreneurs. He continues to expand his fashion and property portfolio, specialising in purchasing companies near to collapse and turning their fortunes back around.
