Son of Clement Freud and great-grandson of the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. Started career as Press Officer for RCA records (1983-5) before setting up PR company Matthew Freud Associates. Later became Chairman of Freud Communications, the Public Relations company representing celebrity clients including Madonna, Guy Ritchie, Chris Evans and Geri Halliwell and multinational businesses BT, Nike and Pepsi.
