Berkeley Stanley Fase was the only child of Sidney and Eliza Fase and was born in Norbury on September 4th 1908. At the time of
the portraits he was living in Castlemaine Avenue, South Croydon and listed his occupation as "composer and pianist".
He died in Eastbourne in October 1989.
