Fraser was a Scottish International Golfer and a semi-finalist in the British Championship of 1910. A member of the St Andrew’s Ambulance Association and a qualified nurse on the outbreak of the First World War, Fraser volunteered with the Scottish Women’s Hospital as an orderly and driver in Serbia. She fell victim to the typhus epidemic in Serbia and passed away while volunteering there in 1915.
