Daughter of William Armitage Moore, Priscilla married her first cousin, Hugh Annesley, 5th Earl Annesley in 1892. He was a soldier and wealthy land-owner; he was also nearly forty years older than Priscilla. Together they had two daughters. Priscilla was considered one of the great beauties of the period and was a noted hostess at the family residence at Castlewellan in Northern Ireland. She was photographed a number of times by Bassano and appeared in his series Types of English Beauty.
