Swimmer. Has competed at international level since 1985, specialising in the 100m Butterfly and Freestyle. He first gained his senior cap in 1986 when he took part in the World Championships. Flag-bearer for England at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. Foster has broken 8 World Records and has won World, European and Commonwealth Gold medals. Most recently won bronze in the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games for 50m Butterfly and Freestyle.
