(Patricia) Ann Jellicoe (1927-), Playwright and director
Sitter in 1 portrait
Playwright and director. Jellicoe's first play, The Sport of My Mad Mother (1958), was far ahead of its time - Kenneth Tynan described it as belonging 'to no known category of drama' - while her second play The Knack (1962) became a box office success and was later made into a film. Jellicoe also worked as director and as literary manager at the Court.
