Son of Christopher Moon, watchmaker 1746-1810 who was born in S Clements Oxford.
and occupied premises in the Staple Inn, High Holborn
His mother was descended from a watchmaker, William Edwards who was in business in the same place.
Francis Graham Moon married Ann Chancellor, daughter of a coach maker- they had several children, one of whom was murdered by his mistress
