Lady Elizabeth Spencer married her cousin John Spencer, not Charles Spencer as per previous email.

I have a miniature portrait by Lady Elizabeth Spencer of her younger sister Lady Anne Spencer aged seven with hair in locket. It was painted around the same time as the painting of the 4th Duke and his family, including both girls by Reynolds that hangs at Blenheim Palace. It is quite conceivable that Reynolds, whilst carrying out his commission gave some instruction to Lady Elizabeth, the painting is very proficient. Lady Anne went on to marry the 6th Earl of Shaftesbury, Lady Elizabeth married her cousin John Spencer.
