Alice O’Brien. In the Olympia (Paris) brochure of 1914 she is named as singer in "l'opérette des dix" as "Miss Aurora". The brochure shows a photo of here in this role.

I believe Alice O’Brien was my fathers mother and I used to go and see her every Saturday to fill up her coal scuttle’s and go shopping for her. She was a very refined lady even in her more mature years and was very robust and in good health, I never new her to be unwell. It was unfortunate that she fell in the snow clearing her path, breaking her elbow in 1966, and died in hospital following a fall out of bed where she sustained serious head injuries. Had she not broken her elbow she would likely have lived to a great age.
She taught my father how to sing, especially how to harmonise and shared her great love of music within the family.
My understanding is that she lost her first husband Harry Fidler in May 3rd 1917 in France during WWII and remarried to Edwin Sherrington in 1937 until his death c1956
I’m just in the process of researching our family tree and hope to have more definitive information in due course
