George Warren White was an American minstrel performer. He performed, circa 1846, many times in London at the St. James Theatre as part of the troupe, The Ethiopian Serenaders. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He is sometimes listed as Warren White and sometimes as G. Warren White. He is not the artist of this portrait, he is rather the subject of the portrait.
