Caroline Jane Baird (née Innes)

An athlete and part-time lecturer with cerebral palsy, Innes was named Young Disabled Sportswoman of the Year in 1993 following her 100m triumph at the Barcelona Paralympic games in 1992. She won gold in the same event at the 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta and went on to win two gold medals, in 200m and 400m, and one silver in the 100m at the games in Sydney in 2000.
