Architect of Waterloo International Railway Station, Sir Nicholas Gimshaw was trained at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. After entering a partnership with Terry Farrell, he joined the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1967. he established his own firm, Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners, in 1980.
