Timothy David Jenkins is a fourth generation photographer following in the footsteps of his father Ford Jenkins (1904-1983), grandfather Harry Jenkins (1866-1952) and two great grandfathers Henry Jenkins (1838-1921) of Wallingford and Tunbridge Wells and Barraclough Wright Bentley (1829-1886) of Buxton, Derbyshire. He started working for the family business in East Anglia before heading to London where he joined Vogue Studios in London, where he assisted photographers including Parkinson, Penn, Horst, Beaton, Snowdon and Bailey. He contributed to Woman's Wear Daily and W Magazine, before becoming a freelance photographer.
