Photographed on the roof terrace of the Casa Milà (La Pedrera), Antoni Gaudí’s masterpiece in Barcelona. Larger white tiles structure is a stairwell exit to the roof; the smaller terracotta masks are chimney pots. The little white one to the left, cropped, looks like one of those added at a later stage and removed in the sensitive restoration completed at the end of the 20th Century.
