Christopher Gibson Allanby was my great great uncle. His details include:
Born 30 May 1836 Sorell Tasmania AUSTRALIA
Married 23 May 1914 London Middlesex ENGLAND to Alice Mary FLETCHER
Died 13 January 1917 South Croydon, Surrey ENGLAND
He was a minister in the Church of England in Australia, eventually becoming the Archdeacon of Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. He retired in 1902 and returned to England.
