Rachel Yankey

Yankey began her football career at Mill Hill United before moving to Arsenal at the age of sixteen, where she spent four years. In 2000 she joined Fulham, the first women's professional team in Europe. With them she won several trophies including the 2002 FA Women's Cup and she was Player of the Match in the 2003 FA Cup Final. Yankey has played for Birmingham City and currently plays for Arsenal. She has become the most capped player in the England squad and was was voted Nationwide International Player of the Year (2005). Awarded an MBE for services to sport in the New Years honours list (2006). Competed at the 2012 London Olympics.
