Sitter in 1 portrait
Kane has been one of the most influential British playwrights of recent decades. She burst onto the scene at the Royal Court in 1995 with her highly controversial play Blasted which challenged the audience through its content, language and form. Her other works include Pheadra's Love (1996), Cleansed (1998), Crave (1998) and 4.48 Psychosis (1999), written shortly before she took her own life and performed only one year later.
