Television presenter. Judy Finnegan was born in 1948 in Manchester, and studied English and Drama at Bristol University. In 1974 she became Anglia Television's first female reporter. She met Richard Madeley at Granada Television in 1982 and married in 1986. They presented the Granada programme This Morning together for thirteen years (1988-2001), winning two National Television Awards (1998 and 1999). They currently present the afternoon talk show Richard & Judy on Channel Four.
