From genealogical research this seems likely to be the man who married Mary Ann Goodhart at Brighton on 30, Sep 1847.
She was the daughter of Emanuel & Christiana [nee Burford] Goodhart.
The Goodharts were an extremely wealthy dynasty of sugar refiners based principally in London's docklands.
There is much to be found on the internet about them.
