Caroline Mary Peachey 1789 -1871. Daughter of 2nd Baron Selsey (John Peachey) and Hester Jennings. Her brother, Henry was the last of the male line and the Selsey baronetcy became extinct on his death in 1838. Caroline, his only sibling, inherited and her property included West Dean House near Chichester with about 7000 acres - now the Edward James Foundation. She married Rev. Leveson Venables Vernon Harcourt (1788-1860) in 1815. He was second son of Edward Vernon-Harcourt, Archbishop of York.
