Barbara Morris studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1937-9. Interrupting her studies during the war, she graduated with a diploma in fine art in 1947 and joined the Victoria and Albert Museum as a research assistant. She retired in 1978 as Deputy Keeper of Ceramics and Glass.
