JMF Thesiger was my great aunt. She married Ernest Thesiger. Her brother was William Bruce Ellis Ranken, a well known artist of the period and a great friend of Ernest. The citation below is a link to a recent and regularly updated web site about Ernest and his "Family of Choice".
