Internationally famous photographer of war and suffering for over two decades. He is also known for his landscapes, still-lifes and commissioned portraits. In 2006 the National Portrait Gallery commissioned McCullin to take ten photographs focusing on the leaders and senior representatives of the major faiths in the UK.
