Ayscough Fawkes (1831-1899), grandson of Walter Ramsden Hawkesworth Fawkes (1769 - 1825), a Yorkshire landowner, writer and Member of Parliament. Walter Fawkes befriended British painter, J. M. W. Turner (1775-1851) and became owner of a large collection of his work.
