Married Frances Waterton of Walton Hall, Sandall Magna, Wakefield, Yorkshire.
Frances's great grandmother was Mary More, her 1xgreat grandfather was Christopher Cresacre More II of Barnborough Hall, Yorkshire. Descendents of Sir Thomas More.
Seymour died in Paris in 1867 - the result of a riding accident.
He and Fanny had two children Marie Louise and Charles Edouard.
