Lennox Claudius Lewis

World heavyweight boxing champion, Lewis was born in Britain and brought up in Canada. He first achieved his title in 1992. In March 1996 he was defeated by Oliver McCall, but regained the title from McCall in February 1997. Before turning professional he won a gold medal for Canada at 1988 Olympics. Along with Muhammad Ali and Evander Holyfield, Lewis is one of three boxers to have won the Heavyweight championship three times. After his retirement, Lewis has become a sports commentator and is an avid chess player.
